During the press conference of the AVP faction, AVP parliamentarian Carlos Bermudez elaborated on the meeting in which the HOFA Kingdom Law was discussed. Bermudez responded to an article claiming that “a limited majority approved the law for financial supervision.”
The parliamentarian wants to make it clear that in the most recent parliamentary meeting, the discussion was not about approving or rejecting the HOFA Kingdom Law. Instead, the decision made was to allow the government to continue the legislative process in the Netherlands. In other words, consensus was given for the HOFA Kingdom Law to move forward, and the Council of State must still issue its advice on this law.
