The MEP party invites the people of Aruba to participate in a series of special activities to commemorate Flag and Anthem Day, including a large party, a historical exhibition and a torch march.

According to parliamentarian Endy Croes, the celebration will take place at the MEP headquarters, where there will be a festive atmosphere with music and community participation. In addition to the party, there will be an exhibition focusing on the history of Status Aparte and the development of Aruba’s flag, giving visitors an opportunity to gain deeper insight into the national heritage.

One of the highlights of the program is the torch march, a symbolic activity representing unity and national pride. The march invites broad community participation, fostering a sense of unity among citizens.

Croes emphasized that the celebration is not only a moment of festivity, but also an opportunity to reflect on Aruba’s journey as a country. The event marks 40 years of Status Aparte and 50 years of the Anthem and Flag, two important milestones in Aruba’s history which today are at risk in the hands of the AVP-FUTURO government.

“The invitation is open for everyone to come together as one people, to celebrate and reflect on our identity and future,” Croes stated.
