Recently, during the installation ceremony of the new Aruba Lions Club board, a new member was also installed to join the Lions family. This was Mrs. Marian Krozendijk, whose partner, Mr. Kenneth Bikker, has already been a member of the Aruba Lions Club for 15 years.
Mrs. Lion Marian has been helping the club behind the scenes for many years as a “Friend of the Lions” and has admired what the club has been doing for decades for the Aruban community. Mrs. Lion Marian is very enthusiastic and has fresh ideas to bring forward to the club, with the goal of further growing the club and strengthening the bond between the club and the community.
The board and members of the Aruba Lions Club and the Leo Club welcome Mrs. Lion Marianne Bikker Krozendijk and wish her every success.
The Aruba Lions Club is a service club that has been working tirelessly for the community of Aruba for nearly 80 years. It operates under the auspices of Lions Club International, which consists of over 46,000 clubs in more than 200 countries, has over 1.4 million members worldwide, and has completed 109 years of existence, making it the oldest and largest service organization in the world.
Programs offered by the Aruba Lions Club include hospital beds and wheelchairs, the Smile Mobile, back-to-school food bags, grocery distribution during the holiday season, and health fairs. The statement ends by thanking the public for their support and asking them to stay tuned for upcoming activities.
