Decision in the confiscation case against “spirits” in the Flamingo case

The Court of First Instance reached a decision this week in the confiscation case against two suspects who were previously, in the Flamingo investigation, convicted of fraud as “civil servants in spirit.”
The Public Prosecutor’s Office demanded that they pay back the salaries they obtained by defrauding the Country of Aruba.
The judge granted the confiscation request. He determined that the suspect L.B.P. must pay an amount of Afl. 122,644.32 to the Country of Aruba, and the suspect G.L.T. an amount of Afl. 82,371.39.
The Public Prosecutor’s Office continues to work
