Member of Parliament Jennifer Arends-Reyes extends her most sincere congratulations to all students who managed to complete their studies and obtain their diplomas this year. According to the MP, this achievement represents the fruits of hard work, perseverance, discipline, and dedication throughout years of academic preparation.
Arends-Reyes emphasized that a graduate’s success is not only the result of their own hard work, but also of the support they received from parents, family, teachers, friends, and everyone who contributed to their personal and academic development.
“A diploma is not just a piece of paper. It represents all the hours of studying, every challenge you overcame, and every moment you kept moving forward, even when the road was difficult. Today is a moment to feel proud of what you have achieved,” Arends-Reyes declared.
According to the MP, graduation marks the end of an important phase in life, but at the same time, it opens the door to new opportunities in education, career, and personal growth.
“Every graduate has a reason to celebrate. This is a moment that will remain etched in your memory forever. I congratulate all students who have reached this goal and wish them much success in the next steps they take in life,” she expressed.
At the same time, Arends-Reyes wants to send a special message of encouragement and support to students who still have to sit for a re-examination. According to the MP, a re-examination should be viewed as an additional opportunity to demonstrate determination, perseverance, and self-confidence.
“Do not lose heart. One result does not define your talent, your worth, or your future. Use the coming days to prepare yourself well, ask for help when necessary, and maintain confidence in your abilities. Sometimes the road takes a little longer, but that does not mean you will not reach your destination,” Arends-Reyes stated.
The MP emphasized that Aruba needs a generation of young people who are prepared, creative, entrepreneurial, and committed to the community. Therefore, she encourages all graduates to keep investing in their knowledge, continue developing their talents, and keep contributing positively to the future of our country.
“Our country needs your energy, your creativity, and your leadership. Keep studying, keep learning, and keep working to realize your dreams. Aruba is counting on you,” she added.
Arends-Reyes concluded her message with words of congratulations for all graduates and a message of hope for those who still have one last step to complete.
“Celebrate this achievement with gratitude, but keep dreaming big. The diploma closes a chapter, but at the same time, it opens the door to a future full of opportunities. To all graduates: congratulations! And to all those who still have their re-examination: keep moving forward, prepare yourselves, and believe in yourselves. You can do this.”
