Surrounded by her family and closest friends, Mieckey Gravenhorst celebrated her 80th birthday in grand style.
Featuring DJ music, karaoke, and entertainment by Julio’s Karaoke, Soledad Reina, and Addonsito Croes, all guests present at her residence in Madiki enjoyed themselves from the moment they arrived until the end of the event. Catering was handled by Thyara Doornkamp and her mother Omayra de Windt.
Among the popular songs enjoyed by the guests were “Content’i mirabo,” “Den skochi ’i bo mama,” “Maria Isabel,” “It’s now or never,” “E fecha glorioso,” “Abo so,” and “Cunucu di Seit.”
In her speech, Mieckey expressed her gratitude to everyone who has supported her through good times and bad over the years, including her daughter Carissa, her siblings, and her many friends. She also shared that she remains sharp and in good health, expressing her deep appreciation for all those who cherish her.
An unforgettable highlighted moment took place when Mieckey and eight of her close friends took to the mock stage at Club RCA to perform a playful reenactment of the Aruba Carnival Youth Queen pageant.
