Tourism Corporation Bonaire (TCB) is excited to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Davidlee Winklaar, designating him as an official “Professional Local” and a distinguished Bonaire Local Ambassador. This partnership represents a significant milestone in promoting Bonaire’s distinct identity, rich culture, and breathtaking natural beauty.
With this official agreement, a long-lasting and sustainable partnership aimed at highlighting Bonaire’s unique nature. This will be accomplished by a wide range of initiatives, competitions, events, projects, and, above all, by Davidlee Winklaar’s sincere passion for our island.
Davidlee is not only a dedicated and passionate individual but also an accomplished athlete with a strong background in martial arts. Over the course of his athletic journey, he has amassed an impressive list of achievements, such as winning the ultimate title in Mexico during the WAKO Pan American championship in 2018, demonstrating his unwavering commitment, discipline, and talent.
He has recently announced his athletic comeback titled “The Last Dance” with the aim to participate in Pan America in Brazil.
As we look forward, Davidlee is preparing to represent Bonaire at the Pan American Championship scheduled to take place in Brazil in December 2023. His participation in this international event underscores his dedication to bringing recognition and honor to our island.
