Tourism Corporation Bonaire (TCB) proudly
represented Bonaire at Travmedia’s International Media Marketplace (IMM) 2026,
held on January 22 nd , 2026, in New York City. IMM is a leading global networking
event that connects the travel industry with leading journalists, freelancers, editors,
influencers, and broadcasters from top media outlets. TCB’s participation in this
year’s IMM event focused on strengthening media relations and showcasing the
island’s diverse offerings.
During this year’s IMM event, TCB emphasized personalizing the Bonaire
experience by highlighting new developments for 2026 and showcasing the island’s
unique mix of nature, culture, sustainability, and culinary offerings. From new
experiences to all-time favorites, Bonaire’s ongoing commitment to responsible
tourism and authentic island experiences was warmly received by the contributors
who met with the Bonaire team.
TCB had a full agenda and successfully conducted 24 one-on-one appointments with
top media representatives from leading outlets such as Fodor’s Travel, Travel &
Leisure, National Geographic, Lonely Planet, Condé Nast Traveler, TravelPulse,
Toronto Star, and other prominent international publications. These meetings
allowed for in-depth conversations and connections directly with key media partners
who are interested in visiting Bonaire to do a cover story on the island.

Following TCB’s participation at IMM 2026, the team, together with Van der Valk
Plaza Beach Resort Bonaire and Divi Flamingo Beach Resort & Casino are also
preparing to participate in the Travel & Adventure Show in New York. During the
show, the Bonaire team will have the opportunity to engage directly with consumers
while sharing inspiration for future travel. The Travel & Adventure Show in New York
will take place at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center on January 24 and 25,
2026.
