WEB Aruba NV, together with the Department of Agriculture, Livestock, and Fisheries (Santa Rosa), announced the winner during a special ceremony.
The winner of the ten 1000L water tanks, for customers who participated in the raffle held during the early March markets, was announced today, March 31, 2026. The prize was officially presented in the presence of representatives from WEB Aruba NV and the Department of Agriculture, Livestock, and Fisheries Santa Rosa.
During the ceremony, Ms. Mary-Anne Everon (Secretarial Administrative Officer, Water Distribution and Customer Service) and Mr. Efraim Rafael (Head of Customer Service), together with Ms. Carola Geerman, Mr. Anthony Matos, and Mr. Humphrey Croes from Santa Rosa, drew the winning ticket.
The lucky winner is Mr. Sigmund Werleman, a farmer from Savaneta, who cultivates a variety of fruits and vegetables, including beans, cucumbers, and yambo.
After the ceremony, the organizers contacted Mr. Werleman, who expressed his great happiness and gratitude to WEB Aruba NV and Santa Rosa. The water tanks will be delivered directly to his farm or home to help him continue developing his fresh local produce for the people of Aruba and contribute to the Primary Sector.
