Alzheimer’s Foundation lit their lights and illustrated their ribbons at the roundabout of Web Aruba NV

Last friday, a very special moment took place at the roundabout of Web Aruba NV. President of the Alzheimer Aruba Foundation Melva Croes-Yánez expressed her satisfaction that Web Aruba NV has made available the rondabout to illuminate the event and celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Alzheimer Aruba Foundation.

The month of September is dedicated to Alzheimer’s disease, and the Alzheimer’s Foundation Aruba will hold month-long activities around the island to raise awareness of the disease in the Aruban community. On the first of September, the roundabout was illuminated with lights and the Alzheimer’s ribbon was put up so that all passers-by could see and pay attention to the significance of this month. Thus inaugurated the month and the initiative of the month of September and thanks to Web Aruba NV for this opportunity. At the same time, the foundation celebrates its 20th anniversary this year. President of the Alzheimer Aruba Foundation believes it is important for the Aruban community to continue to reflect on the conditions in Aruba as well as around the world. Mr. Marinus Wegereef is also part of the activities committee of the Alzheimer Aruba foundation and organizes various activities and awareness days for this disorder. Thus, the Alzheimer Foundation Aruba opened its month of activities and the foundation celebrates its 20th anniversary.
