Seven Stingray Swimming Team Swimmers Ready for Plantation-Fort Lauderdale Competition

Seven athletes from the Stingray Swimming Team benefited from an extra training session at the Davie Pine Island Fitness & Aquatics Center together with Elite Coach of Team Azura Sr. Gustavo Rasia. This training was the final preparation before the Short Course swimming competition in yards, which will take place in Plantation, Fort Lauderdale, USA.

This Thursday, the highly motivated Stingray Swimming Team swimmers are ready for the official opening of the 35th edition of the annual Winter Championship, from December 11 to 14, 2025, under the guidance of Coach Paolo Inocencia. Today, all swimmers are eagerly preparing at the Plantation Aquatic Complex to be mentally ready to represent Aruba in top form.

More than 1,200 swimmers will participate in this event, which is considered a very important swim meet for our Aruban swimmers. From here, we wish everyone great success and to make Aruba proud!

  • Tyler Richards (16)
  • Landon Laaf (22)
  • Yeshua Maduro (15)

Female:

  • D-Leylah Gerrel (14)
  • Vitali Inocencia (12)
  • Emma Ponson (12)

The Stingray Swimming Team wishes all seven swimmers every success and hopes they win medals and achieve great times for the team and for Aruba.
