Cas di Cultura proudly announces the return of Battle of
the Bands (BOTB) 2026, marking the third edition of the island’s growing live music
competition. This year, the event expands its reach by welcoming amateur bands of all ages,
creating an inclusive platform for both emerging and developing musical talent across Aruba.
Battle of the Bands was created to stimulate and support the local rock music scene,
offering musicians a much-needed platform to perform and grow. With limited opportunities on
the island for bands and fans of rock and alternative genres to come together, BOTB aims to fill
that gap by creating a space where this style of music can be showcased, celebrated, and
experienced live.
The event will consist of a series of preliminary rounds leading up to a Grand Finale on May
29, where the top bands will compete for the ultimate title. The winning band will receive a
grand prize of Afl. 5000, along with a professional music video produced by The Music
Hub, providing valuable exposure and a stepping stone for future opportunities.
Beyond the competition, BOTB 2026 also offers audiences a chance to experience live rock
and contemporary music in an energetic and community-driven setting. The event continues
to build a space where both performers and music lovers can come together to celebrate
Aruba’s diverse and evolving sound.
