The Minister of Justice, Integration, and Public Transport, Mr. Drs. Arthur Dowers, recently paid a working visit to the building that served for several years as the office of the Casino Affairs Department (Departamento di Asuntonan di Casino – DAC) to inspect the progress of the renovation work, which is in its final phase.
When the DAC was temporarily relocated to MFA Paradera, a renovation project for the building began. The premises were in a very deplorable state and required structural and maintenance work.
During the project, the building’s infrastructure was improved, fixing various defects that had affected the office’s functionality over the past eight years. The result is a building in good condition that will offer a dignified, safe, and functional working environment.
The renovation work is in its final phase, and office furniture will be installed shortly. Following this, the Human Resources Department (DRH) will occupy the building to execute specific tasks within the framework of the Temporary Work Organization (Tijdelijke Werkorganisatie – TWO) for the benefit of public service.
During his visit, Minister Dowers expressed his satisfaction with the progress of the renovation work. Minister Dowers continues to invest in improving governmental infrastructure to create a dignified and efficient working environment for both employees and the community they serve.
