The president of the Heritage Center Club Boneriano, Gregory Goedgedrag, has a clear goal and is steadily moving toward fulfilling the promise of establishing this community center. Goedgedrag shares details about the major cleanup action scheduled for August 22.
The foundation was officially established on November 8, 2024. While the journey toward 2025 has involved hard work in fundraising and organizing community events, the board has received tremendous support. Recently, they organized cleanup efforts with the help of a large group of volunteers, including assistance from Secrets Baby Beach Hotel, whose volunteers helped thoroughly clean the building.
Currently, the organization has about 40 dedicated volunteers, and plans are underway to clean both the interior and exterior of the building to have it in pristine condition for Bonaire Day on September 6. The president calls on the entire community in Aruba and the Bonerian diaspora to join in with tools, donations, or manual labor to ensure the success of this major community cause.
