Government and Aruba Birdlife Conservation Open Dialogue to Find Solutions and Reach an Agreement

Abc Gobierno

The Minister of Housing, Infrastructure, Internal Services, and Telecommunications, drs. Rene Herde, held an initial meeting with Aruba Birdlife Conservation (ABC) to open a dialogue and find common ground regarding the postponed case. Both parties agreed that this meeting would take place outside of government buildings, which occurred on Friday afternoon. For Minister Herde, the location and time of day were not important; what mattered was that the government and ABC sit down together to reach a solution and simultaneously find a way to enable coexistence between the conservation of our nature and the development of tourism activities.

The Government’s message is that solutions must be found: Aruba must protect its nature while also becoming a safe place for tourism and recreation.

The Government of Aruba and Birdlife Conservation will analyze the points internally before continuing the dialogue and seeking concrete solutions.
