Also shares the results of the annual cruise tourism survey
The Aruba Tourism Authority (A.T.A.), through its Strategy, Planning and Research (SPR) department, has presented the results of its annual 2025 cruise tourism survey. The study, based on 2,414 surveys collected in 2025, offers important information regarding the profile, behavior, and experience of cruise visitors to Aruba. The result confirms that Aruba holds a strong position as a cruise destination, with 81% of respondents indicating that Aruba’s presence on the itinerary influenced their decision to take this specific cruise. Furthermore, this 81% represents an increase compared to 78% in 2024.
The research also shows that cruise visitors appreciate their experience in Aruba. All 14 attributes measured in the survey showed improvement compared to 2024, with the beach, safety, and local hospitality obtaining the highest scores. Additionally, the average spending per person during a cruise stop reached USD 197, with the main spending categories being excursions, local crafts, and food and beverage (F&B). Thus, cruise tourism continues to generate economic activity across different sectors on our island.
