As part of its “Legacy Project” in connection with the celebration of its 100th anniversary, Aruba Bank announced a donation of AWG 100,000 to Stichting Casa Cuna Progreso (SCCP) to support the purchase of a new 15-seater bus. This donation symbolizes Aruba Bank’s continued commitment to community well-being and development in Aruba.
Stichting Casa Cuna Progreso provides care, guidance, and protection to some of the most vulnerable members of the community: babies, young children, young mothers, and their families. Reliable transportation is essential for the organization’s daily operations, including access to schools, medical care, social programs, and recreational activities.
With Aruba Bank’s donation, the organization will be able to purchase a modern and safe bus that will enhance mobility and access to education and care for both staff and residents.
Mrs. Sharon Fränkel, Managing Director of Aruba Bank, shared:
“Our 100th anniversary is a moment for reflection and gratitude. Through our Legacy Project, we aim to create a real and lasting impact. We are honored to support Casa Cuna Progreso with a vehicle that will serve the children and mothers who are cared for with such dedication.”
The new bus will support transportation for school, sports and recreational outings, medical and therapy appointments, as well as social reintegration programs.
