AVP faction leader does not fully understand the content of the Kingdom Law HOFA and seeks official opinions from advisory bodies

Parlamentario Jennifer Reyes

Member of Parliament Jennifer Reyes, leader of the AVP faction, stated that her party submitted a motion and clearly expressed its position that “an agreement is an agreement” within the Kingdom.
The AVP faction has requested official opinions from the Council of State and the Advisory Council, so that they can form their own conclusions based on those official perspectives.
Although it was possible to negotiate a governance agreement similar to a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), Reyes said that the AVP–FUTURO government lacked the courage to negotiate a better financial supervision law for Aruba.
