In another update, FUTURO Parliamentarian Ruthlyn Lindor emphasized that since 2012 she has been advocating for human rights in Aruba during International Human Rights Day. She questions why cases in Aruba take so long to be resolved and processed.
According to Lindor, the law states that cases must be handled as quickly as possible for both the victim and the suspect. But this is not happening — especially in cases that have a major impact on the community, which often take far too long.
