Everyone who wants to achieve something in life must persevere. To become a professional athlete, you must train every day; to become a good doctor, you must study; to preach, you must study the Word of God. Everything that is good requires perseverance.
If a person perseveres in evil and immorality, we must understand that such a person is in the grip of the devil and lives in darkness. The Word of God says that the one who perseveres until the end will be saved. This shows clearly that the Christian life is not a life of laziness, nor an easy life, but a life that requires constant communion with God.
Do good to everyone, even to those who do not like you, because when we do good, we demonstrate that we are disciples of Jesus Christ. Hebrews 10:36 says that in order to fulfill the will of God and receive what He has promised, you must persevere.
Cowardice and fear do not come from God. In seeking God, there is no spirit of fear, but a Spirit of strength, power, and a sound mind. Sin makes people fearful and causes them to believe and deceive themselves into thinking they have no more chances. But we have good news: if we confess our sins, God is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Hold on to the hope you have, let it give you joy; persevere in times of tribulation and pray constantly (Romans 12:12). Perseverance shapes us, forming a character approved by God, which in turn fills us with hope (Romans 5:4). Those who continue to persevere in doing good and seek glory, honor, and eternal life will receive it (Romans 2:7).
When parents persevere in doing good and guide their children in the way of Jesus Christ, they will see the power of God manifested in their lives. Everyone who perseveres in doing good will receive the goodness of God. Every young person who perseveres in doing good will be successful in life, because all goodness comes from God. That is why every young person needs Jesus Christ in their life.
Perseverance builds character; it makes people upright, respectable, and capable of leadership, because they have gone through trials and grown stronger. Let us not grow tired of doing good; let us keep persevering, and we will reap what the Lord has prepared for us, because the Lord has great things in store for those who persevere.
Only goodness can overcome evil. In this way we show that negativity cannot dominate; with decency we overcome immorality; with positivity we succeed, even when times are difficult and people reject the Word of God. Still, we must persevere, because in doing so we will see the face of God.
What the enemy plans for evil, the Lord will turn into good. All goodness comes from God and from God alone, because every good and perfect gift comes from our Father in heaven. The love and goodness of God guide us on the right path, teaching us to do good at all times and in every circumstance we may encounter.
We are all called to do good works, for which God created us from the beginning of the world. Let goodness reign in everything we do, every day.
