Parliamentarian Endy Croes: “Dictatorship in parliament! governor pulled Marlon Sneek ear to hide Meetings from the people”

Marlon Sneek

During a press conference this past Monday, Parliamentarian Endy Croes strongly criticized the so-called “seat-warmers” of the AVP faction. Croes exposed how the AVP-Futuro faction is making itself look ridiculous by waiting for Dutch members of the Council of State to dictate their opinion on HOFA, because they themselves do not have the “backbone” to defend Aruba.

“Remote-Control” President and the Hijacking of Parliament

Croes explained that the Parliament of Aruba is simply not functioning properly under the leadership of Marlon Sneek.
“Marlon Sneek is operating by remote control. Mike Eman is the one pressing the buttons, and Marlon obeys,” Croes stated.

The greatest proof of this alleged hijacking is the letter from 13 labor unions, sent in October 2025, requesting a meeting regarding the HOFA issue. Because the unions oppose this law, Croes claims that Mike Eman ordered the letter to be hidden and the meeting not to be scheduled.

Governor Had to Give Marlon a “Well-Deserved Lesson”

After significant pressure from the opposition and an official letter sent to the Governor of Aruba, the truth finally came to light.

“We learned that the Governor called Marlon Sneek in and pulled his ear properly,” Croes revealed.

According to Article 23 of the Rules of Order, the President has the obligation to call a meeting requested by three members within 30 days. However, Croes stated that Marlon Sneek allegedly concealed the unions’ petition for 143 days. Only after the Governor’s intervention did Sneek reportedly rush to schedule the meeting for March 19.

List of Petitions More Than 240 Days Old

Endy Croes presented a list of meetings that he claims the Parliament President has delayed:

  • RWZI (AWSS): Petition from July 3, 2025 (more than 240 days old)
  • Petroleum Development: Petition from January 12, 2025, still awaiting attention
  • Labor Unions: 143 days to address a national concern

“Marlon, Many Eyes Are Watching You”

Croes concluded by sending a clear warning to the President of Parliament:

“Democracy must be respected. Your duty is to serve the people, not to serve Mike Eman behind the curtain.”

After the Governor’s intervention, Sneek reportedly began scheduling meetings for the month of April.

“Do the right thing, because many eyes are watching you—and those around you!”
