Last week, the Public Entity of Bonaire organized a brunch in honor of the youth baseball team Bonaire-A, following their victory at the 2026 PONY Caribbean Mustang 10U Zone Tournament.
The team made history by winning 2-1 against Venezuela, securing a tremendous achievement for Bonaire. This victory is a source of pride for the entire island and showcases the talent, discipline, and dedication of our young athletes.
During the gathering, Commissioners (Diputadonan) Jennifer Mohamedjoenoes, Joselito Statia, and Timoteo Silberie were present to personally congratulate the players and their coaches. As a token of appreciation, every team member and coach received a pin shaped like the flag of Bonaire, in recognition of their hard work, perseverance, and excellent representation of Bonaire on an international level.
The Public Entity of Bonaire expresses great pride in this achievement and wishes the team much success in their future competitions. Bonaire is proud of you all.
