More relief for the people Prime Minister Mike Eman: Priorities of the AVP–Futuro Cabinet reflected in the 2026 budget

Presupuesto 2026

The 2026 budget has been approved!
“Our entire community is beginning to feel a breath of relief, which is definitely the change that people voted for on December 6, 2024, and that change is now becoming a reality,” stated the Prime Minister of Aruba, Mr. Mike Eman, last night.

Prime Minister Eman is convinced that from now on, the suffering of our community, oppressed for many long years, has begun to come to an end. The relief that voters expressed during the elections means that Aruba can start to see improvements, among other things in the position of our pensioners.

Within less than one year of governance, an increase of 500 florins
An amount of 250 florins was given directly to pensioners, as was felt eight months ago, and last night a budget was approved with an additional advance of 250 florins for all pensioners. Up to this moment, a total of 500 florins in advances has been granted to 22,000 pensioners in less than one year of governance.

Priorities reflected in the budget
If there is anything that reflects priority—giving the people, this country, and our entire community the priority they deserve—it is the measures taken in the 2026 budget. Advances for our seniors, teachers, people on social assistance, and those earning minimum wage.

The major changes that Aruba voted for, announced last night during the 2026 budget session which has just been approved, have been reflected and have found their foundation so they can reach every household in our country.

Aruba is witnessing a government that has taken steps to ensure that everything taken away is returned to our community.
