Member of Parliament Endy Croes states that although the company Trafigura ultimately won the bidding process for operating the jetfuel, gasoline, and diesel services, the director responsible for ensuring the correct handling of the process was suddenly sent home.

Croes explained that on August 18, the official opening of the bidding took place. One day later, on August 19, a notification was sent to the participants who did not meet all requirements, informing them that they would not proceed to the final stage.

The parliamentarian added that August 22 was the deadline to submit the best offer. According to the official bidding agenda, September 8 was the date on which the winning company would be announced in this case, Trafigura.

However, Croes stated that after this, sudden changes occurred within the process, raising questions about transparency and integrity. The MP is requesting more clarity about the motives behind these unexpected developments and insists that the people deserve a full explanation.
