The Aruba Fire Department has received a crucial reinforcement with the arrival of two new fire trucks. After entering the port, the vehicles were transported directly to the fire station at Reina Beatrix International Airport. For a long time, the fire department has faced shortages of equipment and personnel. However, the airport station remains marked as the most urgent due to its critical role in aviation safety. An airport fire station that does not function optimally can endanger flight operations and, in extreme cases, even mean the risk of having to close the airport. To mitigate these risks and comply with strict international safety requirements, it was possible to secure these two additional vehicles. With this arrival, the airport fire station now boasts a reinforced capacity to guarantee safe and continuous operation on the airport ramp.
