As a beautiful tradition, the teachers of Filomena College Mavo in San Nicolas closed the year 2025 with a singing presentation at the elderly home SABA San Nicolas.
The Filomenales group dedicated several end-of-year songs as well as popular songs to everyone present. Under the musical guidance of maestro Eric Farro on the cuatro, with Esther Arends as leader, together with more than twenty-three teachers and staff members, they performed songs such as Fuego al Cañón, Cunucu di Seit, Bay Conta Na Tur Hende, Paranda Arubiano, and more.
On behalf of the management of Filomena College Mavo, all teachers and staff thanked SABA once again for the opportunity to delight the elderly in such a wonderful way in 2025. A symbolic gift in the form of a basket with products was also presented to the residents.
We wish all of SABA a happy 2026. After the paranda through the halls of SABA, all the teachers closed the year with a dinner at a local restaurant.
