The grand celebration of Olympic Day will take place this Saturday, where together with IBiSA, Aruba Bank is organizing the “IBiSA Kids run & Olympic Day Celebration” at the Guillermo Prospero Trinidad Stadium. The event is returning to the stadium after several years, where all 750+ participants, ranging from toddlers to youth, will compete on the new athletic track in a high-energy and celebratory atmosphere. In addition to this, all prizes and certificates will be handed out in the celebration area, which will be located inside the Entertainment Center.
As is customary, the Olympic Day celebration will take place inside the Entertainment Center, where various booths from member federations of the Aruban Olympic Committee (COA) will be present, alongside Olympic and TEAMARU athletes who will interact with the public. There will be an opportunity to take photos with the famous torches, in addition to other interactive activities to promote sports in Aruba.
COA invites the entire community tomorrow morning starting at 6:00 AM at the Guillermo Prospero Trinidad Stadium and the Entertainment Center to celebrate Olympic Day and experience the excitement of sports.
