During a press conference, Member of Parliament Endy Croes expressed concern about the bidding process for selling jeffuel, gasoline, and diesel in Aruba. According to Croes, there could be a potential scandal in the way the purchase is being handled.
Croes indicated that he has formally submitted questions to Minister Arthur Dowers but has received no response to date. The parliamentarian also pointed out that there are documents detailing contracts between RDA and FMSA, which could provide more clarity about the procedure.
According to Endy Croes, transparency and accountability are fundamental in the management of public funds, and any lack of clarity could undermine the public’s trust in both governmental and international institutions.
