Movementu Kousa Promé is organizing a protest night against practices that harm the youth of Curaçao.
On Monday, December 8, “Movementu Kousa Promé” invites the people of Curaçao to a protest evening a night where affected citizens and experts will share information about the degrading and disrespectful conduct of the government of Curaçao.
Foreigners and investors with large amounts of capital are receiving all the privileges over our natural heritage. When it comes to permits, land, beaches, and coastal areas, foreigners come first, money second, and only at the very end the children of the island. There is no consideration for our children and grandchildren.
Come and learn what is happening with business permits, the sale of land, beaches, and coastal areas of Curaçao. Come to exchange information and take a stand. Things cannot continue this way.
Citizens who have experienced or are experiencing bitter situations will be there to explain and provide information.
The government wants to make Curaçao a pearl of the Caribbean.
A pearl for whom?
A pearl for foreigners with large capital. Every major development project favors foreign interests.
On this evening, the people will become more aware of what is being done with our property and conscious of what we stand to lose if we do not change the way we manage our territory and our resources.
Come and let your voice of protest be heard.
We will no longer accept abuse against the youth of this country.
