During exercise Tchembe, Martinique was fictionally hit by an earthquake and several armed gangs occupy the island. The Dutch marines had to evacuate together with French marines. Before that, amphibious landings took place and the Marines moved at night. The evacuees were screened, registered, medically assisted and housed in a registration center until they could leave the island.France is an important partner for the Netherlands in the Caribbean and it is therefore good to work together.
