The Directorate of Supervision and Enforcement (Direktorado di Supervishon i Mantenshon di Lei) has initiated a phased process for the restoration and cleaning of the parking lot at Stadion di Playa. For a long time, this lot has been used for storing containers, trailers, heavy equipment, and other items. As a result, the land is no longer fully available for its intended purpose, creating safety risks.

A safe, orderly, and well-maintained public space is important for everyone in Bonaire. For this reason, the Directorate of Supervision and Enforcement is handling this restoration and cleaning process in phases. In the meantime, owners known to the Public Entity Bonaire (Entidat Públiko Boneiru) have been personally informed about this approach. Where necessary, the Directorate makes agreements with the users in question regarding the execution of the process, so that the terrain can be restored step-by-step in a safe and careful manner.

Users who need to remove their items are kindly requested to report this at least three (3) working days in advance to the Directorate of Supervision and Enforcement via +599 790 0707. This allows the work to be properly prepared and the necessary safety measures to be taken.

The Directorate of Supervision and Enforcement will continue to monitor the site and supervise compliance with applicable regulations. In the coming period, the Directorate will execute the restoration and cleaning process according to schedule. The focus of the various phases of the process is to bring the site back into use in a safe, orderly, and designated manner.

The Directorate of Supervision and Enforcement appreciates the cooperation and understanding of everyone involved. Together we are working on restoring the site, so that it can be used again in a safe, orderly, and designated manner.

In the upcoming period, the Directorate of Supervision and Enforcement will keep our residents updated on the progress of the restoration and cleaning process at Stadion di Playa.
