The University of Aruba recently organized UA Jouve Love, a joyful event that brought together students, staff, and faculty for an evening of music, talent, and community connection ahead of Jouve Morning. In an atmosphere full of excitement and positivity, the event proved to be the perfect warm-up for the carnival season.
A highlight of the evening was a lovely surprise when one of the event organizers and OAS team member, Janiro Severino, took the stage to present his original song “In My PJs.” His performance filled the audience with energy, and the crowd reacted enthusiastically, making it one of the most memorable moments of the night.
The Talent Showdown showcased impressive performances from across the entire University. Baby’s program brought remarkable energy to the stage, while AFY received well-deserved recognition for their outstanding performance and won the evening. Participants from FHTMS, FEF, and O&C also delivered strong performances, demonstrating creativity, talent, and the true UA spirit.
We extend sincere appreciation to the jury members, Debby Medina, Milendy Bislik-Neuman, Shark Gario, and Melendy Bislik-Neuman, for their constructive and supportive evaluations throughout the event. Special thanks also go to the hosts Kulchaman and Big Reckles for keeping the celebration lively and engaging the audience.
The University of Aruba is grateful for the generous support of our sponsors: Setar N.V., WEB Aruba N.V., Casa del Mar, Superfood, Royal Aruba Aloe, Compra N.V., Tostao, WOW Cosmetics, Subway, and Arulaser. Their contributions made this event possible and helped create a memorable experience for our university community. Thanks also to our Social Media Team, Sunset Visuals Aruba, and Denisse Inesia for capturing the event through their camera lenses.
UA Jouve Love truly captured the joy, creativity, and unity that define the University of Aruba community. We thank everyone who participated and look forward to many more moments of celebration together.
