On Friday night, during a preventive control (stop-and-search) operation for firearms possession in the districts of Noord and San Nicolas, several cars were inspected and multiple individuals were searched.
During a check in the hotel zone (hot zone), a man was arrested who was found in possession of a substantial amount of cash. A search of his car led to the discovery of drugs and related drug paraphernalia.
It is worth noting that during the preventive search operation, a knife, pepper spray, and drugs were also confiscated.
The preventive operations will continue today, Saturday, from 6:00 PM until Sunday morning at 6:00 AM.
