Alina van Oosten passed her examination for Black Belt 2nd Dan, together with six students who successfully passed their Black Belt 1st Dan exam:
Nancy Kelly, Daphne van der Deure, Kylee Thomas, Ava Figaroa, Daniël Cabenda, and Shantwan Kock.
The students completed an exam in Tang Soo Do theory and philosophy, followed by an intensive five-hour practical examination. At the end of the practical test, each participant was required to defend their thesis — an essential component of the Black Belt process.
After a six-month probation period, the athletes will receive their final result, certificate, and belt.
We sincerely congratulate all our students for their tremendous effort and discipline on the training floor, as well as the parents and families who continuously support their children in the sport of Tang Soo Do.
A big congratulations on this significant achievement and for demonstrating the true Indomitable Spirit of Tang Soo Do!
Gihae Tang Soo Do Studio also extends heartfelt gratitude to instructors
Sah Bum Nim Melissa Noguera, Bo Sah Bum Nim Aymon Kelly, and Bo Sah Bum Nim Rodney Thomas
for their dedication and constant support throughout the exam preparation, as well as the entire Black Belt team who assisted during training sessions and the examination itself.
