The Aruba Tourism Authority (A.T.A.) proudly fulfilled a donation of AWG 8,000 to Fundacion Pa Nos Comunidad (FPNC). This contribution was generated during the second successful edition of the culinary event, the Authentic Aruba Culinary Festival 2025. On Friday, February 6, 2026, the donation was presented in the presence of A.T.A. CEO Ronella Croes, alongside ‘Autentico’ project leader Gilbert Wernet, FPNC Director Gianaika van der Biezen, FPNC representatives, and other A.T.A. representatives.

With the mission to celebrate Aruba’s rich culinary heritage, the Authentic Aruba Culinary Festival not only brought the community together through food but also ensured a meaningful contribution back to society. A.T.A. feels honored to support Fundacion Pa Nos Comunidad an important cause that helps provide food to families most in need.

Fundacion Pa Nos Comunidad (FPNC) is Aruba’s official food bank, working daily to combat poverty and hunger on the island. Through the structured collection and distribution of food packages via a network of social institutions, volunteers, and donors from the public and private sectors, FPNC supports the most vulnerable families and individuals in meeting their basic needs with dignity and respect.

The AWG 8,000 donation consists of remaining transaction credits from event visitors combined with an additional contribution added by A.T.A. for this worthy cause. Through this donation, A.T.A. and the Authentic Aruba Culinary Festival strengthen and support the sustainability of the foundation, enabling FPNC to continue its vital work of collecting, organizing, and distributing food to families who depend on their assistance. Furthermore, the donation demonstrates the power of community initiatives and the direct impact that tourism-related events can have on society.

A.T.A. and the Authentic Aruba Culinary Festival are pleased to give back to the community and will continue initiatives that contribute to a stronger and more united Aruba.
