The Biblioteca Nacional Aruba is in full preparation for its Festival di Buki pa Mucha (Children’s Book Festival). The festival will last an entire week, during which a group of children’s book authors will visit many schools. The Biblioteca Nacional Aruba will open the festival with a big celebration on Sunday, November 2 at 3:00 PM in the Paseo Herencia Ballroom. All children and their parents are warmly invited!
From Monday, November 3 to Friday, November 7, authors and illustrators from Aruba, the Netherlands, Curaçao, and Bonaire will visit schools to tell stories in classrooms and in the library each afternoon at 3:00 PM. The group will share stories, talk with children about books, and encourage them to read more.
From Curaçao, the library expects the participation of Tio Ali, Kati Qui, and Tito Ansano, and from Bonaire, Denise de Jongh-Rekwest and Sharlon Willems will be joining.
