The Minister of Tourism, Mr. Wendrick Cecilia, also visited the airport and expressed his pride in the professional manner in which Aruba’s personnel handled the situation during crucial moments. According to the Minister, the operational staff demonstrated that they are the backbone of Aruba’s tourism industry. Collective efforts have brought Aruba back to normal.
Minister Cecilia stated that Aruba has shown that the improvements at the airport are the result of collective efforts among various stakeholders, such as hotels, taxi drivers, relevant government departments, and the leadership of ATA, AAA and AHATA. All parties remained alert and well-coordinated to ensure that everything proceeded smoothly. Minister of Tourism Wendrick Cecilia expressed his gratitude and satisfaction with all the efforts made.
