Member of Parliament Dangui Oduber expressed concern about the lack of transparency in Minister Gerlien Croes’ management, as she is refusing to answer parliamentary questions related to her recent private jet trip.

Oduber emphasized that he is not questioning the minister’s right to choose her means of transportation; the main point is that she must inform the people of Aruba and Parliament in a transparent manner. According to Oduber, the MEP faction has submitted more than 100 questions on the topic, and if Minister Croes is honest, she could answer all of these questions without any problem.

The parliamentarian stressed that transparency and accountability are fundamental in governance, and that withholding information can undermine the public’s trust in their leaders.
