Recently, the Minister of Justice, Integration, Public Transport, and Energy, mr. drs. Arthur Dowers, visited the Edgar Joaquin ‘Watty’ Vos Police Academy in San Nicolas to inspect the progress of the renovation works taking place during the vacation period.
During his visit, Minister Dowers received an update regarding the various works currently underway, which aim to improve the facilities for students and staff of the Police School. The renovations are part of Minister Dowers’ ongoing efforts to create a modern, functional, and appropriate environment for the preparation of future members of the Aruban Police Force.
According to current planning, the work will be completely finished before the end of the school vacation period. This will allow the next term of classes to begin in a renovated facility, providing a safer, more modern, and functional environment for the future police officers who will serve the community of Aruba.
With this investment, Minister Dowers reaffirms his commitment to strengthening security institutions and offers the best possible conditions for the training of the men and women who will dedicate themselves to serving and protecting our community.
