For the first time in its history, the Central Bank of Aruba (CBA) will open its doors to the community for a historic event: “GET TO KNOW YOUR CENTRAL BANK.” The event will take place on Saturday, November 22, 2025, offering an educational and interactive experience in which both young and old can discover the essential role the CBA plays within Aruba’s economy and society.
This marks the first time that the CBA opens its doors to the public, giving everyone the opportunity to learn more about its mission, values, and its role as Central Bank. As part of its visual identity update, the CBA is not only presenting a new image but is also focusing on education and raising awareness about the responsibilities it carries.
During the event, visitors will have a unique opportunity to explore different areas of the CBA’s work. They will learn how the CBA safeguards the value of the Aruban florin, maintains financial stability, controls inflation, and much more. Local and international experts from the CBA will be present to provide financial education and give explanations on topics such as Cyber Security. A Hackathon will also take place inside the CBA building.
There will be an exhibition of Aruba’s coins and banknotes, “Nos Tesoro – Aruba’s Florin,” as well as family-friendly workshops open to all ages. For younger children, a dedicated kids’ corner will offer educational games and puzzles.
The CBA emphasizes that this event is a unique opportunity for the community to learn not only about the institution’s work, but also about the dynamic team behind one of Aruba’s most important institutions.
The CBA warmly invites the entire community to attend “GET TO KNOW YOUR CENTRAL BANK” and take part in this educational and interactive experience on November 22, 2025.
