Last Friday afternoon, Prime Minister Mike Eman met with the faction leaders in Parliament regarding the situation involving Venezuela and the United States. The meeting was requested by the PPA faction, given the concerns within the community and the signals emerging from Venezuela and the U.S.
Parliamentarian Jennifer Reyes stated after the meeting that she is satisfied with the information the Prime Minister provided to Parliament, allowing them to stay informed about what is happening and to prepare for any eventual developments. Aruba’s Parliament is highly interested in staying updated on these developments and is taking the situation very seriously.
