The Prime Minister’s “show” in the neighborhoods and hugging people is “extreme socialism” that makes the individual dependent on the government, like in Cuba and Venezuela

Recently, a report titled ” The shadow side of Aruba ” has raised concerns regarding the reality of political choices in Aruba. Parliamentarian Edgar Vrolijk states that this analysis places him under scrutiny, focusing on the impact these decisions have on the quality of life of the citizens.

Infrastructure and neighborhood issues According to the report, the situation in many of our neighborhoods is regrettable. It indicates that there are neighborhoods with poor infrastructure, while others are going through difficult social situations. The report argues that these problems are growing and are affecting the well-being of the inhabitants.

Political decisions and their consequences The document questions the focus of political investments, pointing out that the “turbo madness” of these decisions may have a high cost for the people. In this, the report highlights:

• The drastic increase in the cost of living that affects many families.
• The pressure on people who now have to work two or three jobs just to survive.
• The family consequences caused, including separations due to labor demands.

Education and a system in danger In addition to social aspects, the report points a finger at the educational system. It notes that the lack of educational programs in these neighborhoods means youth are missing valuable opportunities, leading to a cycle of deficiency.

The report concludes that the model being applied, which it describes as a form of “extreme socialism” that makes the individual dependent on the government, is causing damage to the social structure of our country. This, combined with management that the report considers deficient, creates a disaster for the future of Aruba.
