Leo Vrolijk: 16 photographers and 200 portraits focusing specially on sports and the evolution of photographic art in Aruba for Press Day

The photography exhibition “Lens di mi Wowonan” is ready to open its doors tomorrow night, September 1st, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. at the National Library of Aruba in Playa, marking a must-attend event for lovers of art, culture, and our island’s visual history.
As announced by Leo Vrolijk in the official event details, the exhibition will remain open to the public starting Monday, September 30th, following the library’s regular service hours.

The Evolution of Portraiture and Sports in Aruba This edition stands out for a strong presentation of 16 photographers bringing together 200 photographs, where the theme of sports plays a central role. The curation of the exhibition highlights the challenges and the fascinating evolution of the craft.

Vrolijk expressed his deep gratitude to RBC Royal Bank for its unwavering support over all these years, emphasizing that this work is a living heritage that inspires future generations and preserves Aruba’s identity forever.
