During an official visit to the Netherlands, Parliamentarian Edgar Vrolijk held meetings with various institutions and parliamentary bodies. One of the key points on his agenda was a visit to the Dutch Senate (Eerste Kamer), where he presented a dossier titled “HOFA.”
According to Vrolijk, the document serves to present the Dutch Senate with Aruba’s perspective regarding the proposed Kingdom Law related to HOFA. The dossier contains analyses, concerns, and political considerations about the potential impact that a possible HOFA Kingdom Law could have on Aruba’s autonomy and financial governance.
Vrolijk stated that he will further elaborate on the content of the dossier during his upcoming engagements, ensuring that Aruba’s position is clearly and accurately represented in discussions taking place within the Kingdom.
